Vedanta Stretches MHU Services To Kashipur Block In Odisha’s Rayagada

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], February 24: Reinforcing its commitment to community healthcare as well as aiming to serve 21 more remote villages, Vedanta, India’s largest producer of aluminium, has expanded its Mobile Health Unit (MHU) services to Kashipur block in Odisha’s tribal-dominated Rayagada district.

In his reactions, Dr. Netrananda Nayak, Head, Community Health Centre (CHC), Kashipur, said, “I would like to thank Vedanta for providing quality healthcare at the doorstep of nearly 10,000 people in the Kashipur region through its Mobile Health Unit. This vital initiative will not only enhance medical access, but also raise health awareness fostering a healthier community.”

Emphasizing the company’s dedication to community welfare, Sunil Gupta, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Vedanta Aluminium, said, “At Vedanta, we believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right.
