Arch College of Design and Business hosts Orientation and Freshers party to welcome new students

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], September 13:  Arch College of Design and Business recently hosted a series of events to kick off the new academic session, welcoming students from across the country with an engaging orientation program and a vibrant freshers party. These events set the stage for an exciting journey ahead for the new batch.

The orientation session, which marked the beginning of the academic year, provided a comprehensive overview of the college’s 25-year legacy, core values, and academic guidelines. Over the past 25 years, ARCH College of Design and Business has nurtured countless creative minds who have gone on to make significant contributions to the design industry. During the event, Founder and Director of Arch College, Archana Surana, engaged with students and their parents, she said, “Design is more than a field of study; it is an integral part of social advancement. Over the next few years, you will engage in real-life projects and internships that will prepare you for professional excellence. Arch College is dedicated to creating better opportunities for you.”

In addition to academic introductions, Professor Benoy Thoompunkal, Director International at Arch College, outlined the study abroad programs and international student exchange opportunities. With partnerships with global universities like Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, the college continues to provide students with a global perspective on design and business education.

The new students were also welcomed in style with a grand freshers party themed ‘Bohemian Fantasy.’ The event saw enthusiastic participation, with students dressed in vibrant, floral, and bohemian styles. The highlight of the evening was the fashion walk, where the freshers competed for the titles of Mr. and Miss Freshers.

The event also featured engaging icebreaker activities, talent rounds, and a quiz that encouraged students to connect and showcase their creativity and intelligence. At the end the results were announced where Anshika Dubey Goantiya was crowned as Ms. Archer, while Ayush Soni took the title of Mr. Archer.

Speaking at the freshers party, Archana Surana, Founder and Director of Arch College of Design and Business, said, “The Freshers Party provided new students with a sense of belonging as they embarked on this exciting new chapter. It made the transition into college life memorable while offering a platform to showcase their talents.
